Day 4: Monday
We had a 4 bed berth, bunk beds of course, hasn’t been to uncomfortable. We have a window, a table and 2 chairs and separate bathroom. Although the bathroom is barely any bigger then the camper bathroom. We have cabin #1 which is in the very front corner of the ferry so we have a great view right out our window. Today has been a very beautiful day out, we did get to see a couple of whales on their way under the water, had hopes we would see them surface again but did not. We also have seen several porpoises. We stopped at Petersburg, the four of us got off the boat and took a quick walk in town and made a quick visit to the camper to check on the battery and make up some sandwiches really quick for lunch We are expected to arrive in Sitka tonight just after midnight. For entertainment the boys have been running around making documentary videos with my camera – I have watched a few of them and they are very funny. Logan is putting together a video with them all. I hope to publish on my Blog when they are finished. The battery went dead so they are waiting for it to charge to finish it up. Right now they are reading – they both have 4 books that they have to read for their English honor classes that start up in the fall, good time to get a couple of them read. That’s all I know for now, just waiting to get to Sitka in another 3 hours.
