Back to Trestle Creek to explore Moose Lake

The snow was so good at Tresle Creek that we just had to go back and explore more. It was a gorgeous day.

It was warm enough that you didn't need a coat.

We had to go this narrow trail through the trees for almost 2 miles to get to the lake. In the spring and summer the only way to get to this lake is to hike in, I hear the fishing is good so we may have to check in out in the spring.

Trestle Creek, Idaho

We had a scary ride up as the truck started to slide backwards as we were going up a hill, luckily the trailer hit the inside snowbank bringing us to a stop, we had to chain up and get gravel from the creek bed.

Roman Nose, Idaho

Sunday we went to Roman Nose, this is my first time there as last year I was off a few weeks with a broken leg from snowmobiling.

Logan really stuck. This was kind of funny because Logan was showing off as he was climbing this hill, two guys were coming down which he didn't know so he moved to get out of there way and go hung up on a tree. Logan was rather embarrassed but they all stopped and helped him out.

The view was spectacular.

This is a picture of Roman Nose in the summer. I couldn't get a good picture of the mountain in the snow as it was too foggy that day.

Boyer

Matt and Logan went snowmobiling by themselves today. Aaron had wrestling so we stayed home. Luckily Matt had Aaron's snowmobile in the trailer as his broke down so they had to toe it back and he rode Aaron's rest of the day.

Super Bowl

We had Super Bowl at one of our friends parent's house - They have a dream basement. A pool table, a mural, air hockey table, poker table, full size bar,kitchenette, a giant projector screen - with 6 lazy boy recliner stadium seats. If only we had a basement.....
