We leave for Alaska on Friday the 13th. This is our big adventure for the summer. Some place the 4 of us have always wanted to go. The four of us being my husband Matt and two sons Logan age 17 and Aaron age 14. We leave Newport and head for Prince Rupert BC. From there we catch a ferry, the Taku, stopping at Ketchikan, Wrangell, Peterburg and Kake before our destination in Sitka. In Sitka we will visit my brother and have hopes of catching some halibut and king Salmon. Here is a picture of my brothers boat The Up-Tide.
